What attracted you to Proximo?
The start-up opportunities and selling new technology.
How is your work at Proximo different from previous sales positions?
I’m an RN by trade and have been in sales for 25 years. My territory is Southern California. I worked with large medical device companies like Boston Scientific, Argon and Abiomed. Now, I truly enjoy my independence and the challenge of figuring out how to bring new technology to market while teaching physicians about an evolved paradigm of treatment.
How do you like selling innovations, like CeloNova BioSciences’ COBRA PzF NCS?
While Cobra is difficult due to pre-existing contracts with big stent companies, I love the challenge of going against competitors and introducing evidence-based medical products to change mindset.
How has the COVID-19 crisis changed your sales strategy?
As a company, we have found creative ways to support clients and cases. Even through the coronavirus environment, I continue to teach best practices in product handling and being an RN gives me a unique perspective from both the physician and patient prevue. As a team, we support each other and exchange ideas on navigating this unprecedented time.
Skiing, paddle boarding, Pilates and being with my twins who are graduating from college this year.
