PAUL GARDON, Chairman of the Board & COO

Paul is a growth-oriented Senior Executive with more than 25 years of success spanning medical devices, health services and digital technologies.

Leveraging extensive experience in strategic leadership for global businesses, including over 30 M&A deals across various technologies, Paul has deep expertise in intellectual property, capitalization and financing, compliance, M&A, corporate governance, business development, human resources, strategic planning and market analysis.


Throughout his executive career, Paul has held leadership positions with The Spectranetics Corporation, Davita, Covidien and Avaya. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of The Spectranetics Corporation until its sale to Royal Philips for $2.2 billion. In this role, Paul was responsible for all legal matters, strategic planning and processes, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, intellectual property and compliance that enabled the company’s enterprise value to grow from $170 million to $2.2 billion in the span of five years. Prior to Spectranetics, Paul served as General Counsel for a business unit of Davita, a leading provider of kidney care services, VP of Legal Affairs for two large divisions of Covidien and Chief IP Counsel at Avaya.

Paul holds a JD from the Villanova University School of Law and a BS from Marquette University.
